President Kazuya Yamagishi
As a company that "Challenges for the World and for You," we sincerely address a wide range of social challenges and contribute to the civilizational and economic advancement of the world.

KYOKUTOU R&D's mission is to support the chemical infrastructure of Japan and the world through the planning, development, manufacturing, sales, and import/export of industrial chemical products.

Centered on contract synthesis and distillation/purification services, we broadly engage in planning, development and manufacturing of natural material-based products, import/export of chemical products, supply chain coordination, and consulting.

With the motto "Convenient, Creative, and Global," we drive our business with speed and agility to help advance civilization and improve the global environment. We look forward to working with you.

Career Overview

  • Served as Vice President of a chemical manufacturing company, overseeing all operations and executive decision-making.
  • Resigned as Director in January 2025 to establish the current company.
  • Areas of expertise: sales & marketing, corporate strategy planning, and business restructuring.

Chemical Manufacturing Experience (6 years total)

  • Hands-on experience in hydrogenation and various other organic synthesis reactions
  • Practical experience in distillation purification (batch and continuous processes)
  • Experience with crystallization separation and drying equipment operations

Sales & Marketing Experience (17 years total)

  • Development of domestic and international sales channels and sourcing partners
  • Product planning and market development for electronic materials, pharmaceutical intermediates, cosmetics, and battery industries
  • Practical involvement in the establishment and closure of factories and business locations
